
Boiled potatoes with dill is a simple and basic recipe which can be served along with side dishes. It can be prepared with minimum effort and is satiating.
Ingredients
Potatoes (hard cooking) 3/4 kilograms.
Dill chopped for garnishing
Olive oil 2 teaspoons
Salt to taste
Preparation
Wash, dry, peel and cut the potatoes into small pieces.
Boil 3 litres of water in a deep pot and add the potato pieces and 1/2 teaspoons of salt.
Boil for 10-15 minutes till the potato pieces become tender.
Drain the water using a colander and transfer the drained potato pieces to the pot.
Sprinkle a bit salt, 2 teaspoons olive oil and the chopped dill over the potatoes and mix them tossing the pot.
Serve along with sauces and side dishes.
