
Ingredients
Kohlrabis 2 medium ones
Ginger chopped 1 teaspoon
Onion chopped 2 nos
turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
Green chillies chopped 4 nos
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tablespoons
Parsley chopped for garnishing
Preparation
Peel and cut the kohlrabis into some 4-5 cm. sticks.
Peel wash and chop the onions.
Clean and chop the ginger and green chillies also.
Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped ginger and saute for two minutes.
Add the chopped onions and green chillies and saute till the onion becomes translucent.
Now add the turmeric powder and salt and mix together.
Add the kohlrabi pieces and mix together.
Add 2 tablespoons of water and cook on medium heat covering the pan with a lid for 15 minutes or till the kohlrabi pieces become cooked and tender. Don`t forget to stir the ingredients occasionally to prevent the ingredients sticking to the pan and burning.
When cooked remove the lid from the pan and allow the excess water to evaporate. Cook the stir fry for a few minutes more stirring well till all the excess water is evaporated.
Garnish with parsley leaves and serve.
